About The Author

Ross Bonny is a lifelong aviator with an extensive career spanning military service, commercial flying, and flight instruction. His aviation journey began in the U.S. Navy, where he trained as a Naval Aviator and specialized in anti-submarine warfare. Over the years, he adapted to the ever-changing aviation industry, flying for multiple airlines and working as an Air Traffic Controller.

Despite officially retiring, Ross remains deeply involved in aviation. He continues to train on personal flight simulators and hopes to reinstate his instructor certification to mentor the next generation of pilots.

Ross shares his passion for flying with his wife, Jane, a pioneering airline pilot who was among the first women to break barriers in commercial aviation. Together, they embody the spirit of adventure and dedication that defines the world of flight.
